Entry Bench

This piece was inspired by traditional Japanese and Scandinavian design with the incorporation of modern abstraction allowing it to fit into its eclectic minimalist surroundings.

The bench is made of red oak chosen for its intense grain pattern as well as its durability. Traditional joinery techniques such as half laps and dowels provide both visual interest and long lasting strength.

Walnut inlays join the three piece bench top and were hand chiselled, creating a crisp accent.

The lattice like shoe shelf visually mirrors the walnut inlays and hand shaped edges complete this on of a kind piece.

Entry shelf

This functional piece of art each visitor to the home with a warm combination of red oak and walnut.

This angular design features hand-chamfered edges which create depth and shadow lines. The walnut hooks are affixed with the use of sliding dovetail joints for lasting durability.

The concealed keyhole mounting hardware creates a seamless and exceptionally strong means of attachment while also allowing the shelf to be easily removed if needed.
